August Birthdays

Luke and Dylan had a sleep over party for their 7 year birthday with 15 of their friends and had such a good time. I over invited thinking that not all would show and they all came! It was a bit crazy but so fun to see the lids have such a good time together. We did an army cake, shot the bow and arrow, hit a football pinata, made pictures and ironed them onto shirts, and slept in the tents in the backyard. We had a girl tent and a boy tent. I didn't realize the boy/girl thing would be such a big deal. They were at each other all night. And between a bloody nose at midnight and a couple coming in and out to the bathroom and deciding to sleep inside, I think we had them all out by 1:30AM. We enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes together in the morning and we shipped them out. Thanks Gramma and Dadddy Joe for all your help. They got to witness all the chaos of 15 kids at our house for the night. I think they got alot of laughs out of the whole thing.

Dawson the crazy puppy!

Dawson is still a puppy. I have to keep reminding myself that. He is 7 months now and getting bigger than I thought he would. He weighs 36 pounds and he is only supposed to be 35 to 40 pounds full grown. His doctor just informed me that he will be closer to 50 pounds. What???????
You have got to be kidding me. He IS a Mini Golden Doodle, right. At least thats what I was told.
I just hope he doesn't start jumping over our less than 4 foot fence.

He has been a fun new addition to the family even though he eats all my flowers and chews everthing he can get his mouth on. I feel like Marley and Me all the time now.

Well here he is.....he is pretty cute though. Thats the only thing that keeps me from having a nervous breakdown sometimes when I walk out in my backyard and my brand new planter is scattered from one side of the yard to the other.

Announcing Milestones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ella learned how to ride her bike a few weeks ago. She is only 3! My little tomboy has to keep up with those boys.

Ella is a Cub Scout now and she is wearing the shirt proudly. Or at least she wishes she was. The boys just beame Tiger Cubs and they are loving it.

Dylan is the toothless wonder. He was the first to loose his top front tooth. Thanks to mommies pulling strength.

Fun Times on the 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time on the 4th together. We hiked the "M" and the kids just had a blast. We took Dawson with us and he stopped at every shade spot he could. Ella was so proud of herself because she hiked all the way back down all by herself. We had great friends over for the evening with brats on the grill and a fireworks show.

Just hangin out together

Dawson is getting so big already. He is about 4 1/2 months old now and chews and eats everthing. I can't tell you how many crayons he has ate. I can't believe how fast Dogs grow. The kids just love having him in the family.

Luke and Dylan are always wondering who is bigger. Looks like Luke has Dylan by an inch or so and about 15 lbs.

The girls officially share a room now. They love it. They have queen bed to share and giggle at each other until their eyes finally get to tired to hold open. This was their first night together. My sweet princesses.

Luke is our horse. Everyone likes to get piggy backs on Luke. Yes....... even his twin brother.
Daddy and his sweet little Ash. Ash loves given out kisses!

Ella giving me her sweet smile. She likes to dress herself these days.

The boys side by side. They always have to do silly faces.

Dylan wanted to be in all the pictures.

This "shirt" is actually a babydoll dress that Gramma Bonnee adjuted to fit a babydoll she got for Ash. Ash came down wearing it tonight.

The girls love to sit on the counter and be in all the action while I make every meal.

Our New Baby!

This is Dawson our newest family member. He is a mini Goldendoodle. We just love him and has been such a sweet addition to our family. The kids are loving having another buddy to play with all the time. Luke is heaven with his new best friend. Dawson and Luke have really attached to each other.

This was Dawson's first bath. He was too sure about it though, but he sure did smell good afterwards.
